The Cataracs announced via Twitter that the music video for their single “All You” which features Waka Flocka and Kaskade is set to debut on May 25th.
Joey Franchize of the Connecticut based radio station 93.7 held a Skype session with Cyrano and Campa for an interview in which they discussed how it’s like working with big name artists, just how they joined forces to become what we know today as The Cataracs, and how music in the Bay Area is blowing up.
When asked if anyone they knew had a hard time dealing with their careers, Cyrano said that his dad was “conservative and education driven” so it was more difficult for him at first to accept it. On the other hand, he said his mom was cool about it. Campa said the fact that he received a GED had previously given his mom a taste of him leaving school.
Their single “All You” featuring Waka Flocka and Kaskade has been getting tons of radio play lately. Franchize made sure to ask about getting those artists together.
According to Campa, they had been wanting to work with Waka Flocka for a while now and then the “All You” song got in the hands of Flocka’s mom, Debora, who is also his manager. Kaskade was added when he called them and said he wanted to co-sign and feature on it.
“I know it’s a weird kind of like trinity of artists that people normally wouldn’t you know put together the way that we did but in a weird way I think it kinda works so I was really happy with “All You,” said Cyrano when describing the song and how the artists on it are completely different from one another.

MTV will give fans an inside look at Dev‘s life both professionally and personally over the past year on a special which will premiere on Wednesday, May 23rd at 11/10c on MTV.
“Check out the story of my musical hustle, my new family, all my good times & my bad times,” said Dev on a recent Facebook post.
Viewers can expect to see her promoting her debut album, The Night the Sun Came Up, while at the same time juggling the new addition in her life, her daughter Emilia, who is about 5 months old now.

It will document the struggles she faces since getting pregnant just as her career was sky rocketing and how that will affect it. Viewers will get to see her try to get back on track as she prepares for her life as a new mother, her tour and album release, which was pushed back quite a few times due to her pregnancy.
